Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)

Massage therapy is a form of treatment where muscles and other soft tissues are manually manipulated using the therapist’s hands. This remedial technique is used to improve circulation, release muscle tension, decrease stress, balance the body’s energy, and stimulate the body’s natural healing ability. With a well-designed treatment plan, massage therapy can decrease injury recovery time, scar tissue formation, and help alleviate pain and discomfort.

It may also be recommended in the co-management of certain medical illnesses.
