Kinesio Taping

Kinesio Tape is an elastic adhesive that can be applied over various parts of the body for therapeutic purposes. Although initially introduced into rehab hospitals in Japan, Today, Kinesio Taping is used by medical practitioners, exercise enthusiasts, athletes, and non-athletes around the world.

The Kinesio Taping technique is based on the body’s own natural healing process. Depending on how it is applied, it may help alleviate pain; reduce inflammation, swelling, and bruising; stabilize joints; relax overused muscles; and support muscle function throughout the day or during physical activity. It differs from other types of commonly used therapeutic tapes as it is multi-directional, non-restrictive and allows for a full range of motion during the application.
